Mission Viejo Library Update:
City Council Decide to Extend Mission Viejo Library Hours!
Although the issue of the Mission Viejo Library land
agreement was never discussed, City Council voted in a special study
session on January 30, 2012 that came down to a tie vote decided by Mayor Steve Hogan to extend the
Mission Viejo Library operations to 30 hours a week (as opposed to keeping the current
20 hours a week), along with book and material replacements and new computers
(serving as a resource center) for the remainder of 2012.
Board members of the Mission Viejo HOA attended the special
study session and were very pleased with the result.
We thank the Council and the Mayor for doing the right
thing!!
